NMSU dance group seeks monetary assistance

LAS CRUCES - New Mexico State University DanceSport is looking for help to travel to Las Vegas in November to compete and train at the Dance Vision Classic & Mastery Camp.

Local couples Wendy and George Pytlik, and Peter and Marilyn Zannis (not pictured), will compete in the SnowBall Classic International DanceSport Competition in Vancouver later this month.

Aggie Dancesport auditions from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Activity Center room 229.

Performance arts briefs

A show by The Desert Dolls burlesque troupe, which was scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Saturday at La Buena Vida Women's Club, 3217 El Camino Real, has been cancelled.
